The journey
Thirty days.
A different way of attending.
Begin with a question. Bring it into work, relationships and the moments that usually pass unnoticed. The journey leaves room for uncertainty, honest writing and a return at your own pace.
Days 01–05
arrive
A place to begin.
Set down the demand to know already. These first days make room for a question, a little attention, and the willingness to receive a teaching slowly.
Five days within this movement
- Before the answer
- Ask with care
- The weather of experience
- Begin again
- Attention has a cost
Days 06–10
act
The work within reach.
Bring attention into the world of decisions and duties. Consider the work itself, the wish for a particular outcome, and the people affected by what you do.
Five days within this movement
- The work within reach
- Two outcomes, one intention
- The necessary work
- Effort without possession
- Offer the work
Days 11–15
steady
A steadier way to return.
Notice the conditions in which attention is lost and recovered. Follow the beginnings of restlessness and anger. Allow discipline to become a rhythm you can actually live.
Five days within this movement
- The voice you live with
- A rhythm you can live
- Before wanting tightens
- When anger narrows the view
- The moment of return
Days 16–20
relate
The world across from you.
Let reflection reach beyond the self. Attend to the person before you, the language you bring, and the difference between offering something and needing something back.
Five days within this movement
- Before the judgment hardens
- From the other side
- Words fit for another
- The small offering
- An equal regard
Days 21–25
release
Room around the held thing.
Look closely at the things you try to secure through effort, vigilance or possession. Distinguish a responsibility you can honour from an outcome you cannot command.
Five days within this movement
- Enough, while life continues
- Unclench after effort
- Room around a reaction
- The word mine
- Trust and responsibility
Days 26–30
return
Carry it into the ordinary.
Return to work, conversation and the unnoticed hours. Consider what you remember, how you decide, and which understanding deserves a place in the life already waiting for you.
Five days within this movement
- Presence in the ordinary
- What you remember
- Where work meets worship
- The freedom to consider
- What you will carry forward
What each day holds
One teaching.
Room for your response.
Read on one page. Write on the next. A clear daily rhythm gives the words space without crowding out your own.
Thirty paired daily sections, with additional pages to pause, look back and carry something forward.

Read the welcome guide ↗How to use it
Read slowly.
Write honestly.
Return.
Read the teaching once for its words, then again for the question it raises. Stay with the reflection, or follow the source into the wider chapter.
Write what you can stand behind. An unfinished thought or a question can be a worthwhile response. The pages are undated, with no pressure to complete the journey perfectly.
Try the day’s small practice where it fits your circumstances. Mark a page you want to revisit. The journal can meet you again in a different season of your life.

Read the Printing GuideSource integrity
A living question.
A traceable source.
Every daily reading draws from the existing source-verified King of Dwarka Bhagavad Gita. References and speakers are stated clearly. Arjuna’s words remain distinct from Krishna’s teaching.
Six movement openings carry carefully chosen, complete Sanskrit passages. Their existing two-source checks and documented textual variants are preserved. Original reflections, questions and practices are clearly editorial.
A linked source register invites you to read beyond the page. The journal offers a companion to reflection, with room for the depth of the text.

Yes, in a PDF app that supports ink annotation, using a compatible stylus or the app’s other writing tools. Import a private working copy and save your annotations in that app. These are PDFs with linked contents and bookmarks, not fillable text forms. Device and app support varies.
Do I need to finish in thirty consecutive days?
