Care, clarity & trust
Privacy Policy
A thoughtful home begins with clarity about what you share, what stays private, and the choices that remain yours.
This policy covers kingofdwarka.com, Krishna Community, our newsletter and the digital experiences available here.

Who we are
King of Dwarka is an independent cultural and devotional digital initiative. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the team operating King of Dwarka and responsible for the personal information described here. Our primary privacy and support contact is info@kingofdwarka.com.
This policy explains our current practices. Some products and features remain in preparation. We describe those separately and do not treat a planned service as an active one.
Information we collect
You can explore the public reading pages without creating a Community account. The information we process depends on the features you choose to use.
- Information you supply: an email address when you subscribe or contact us; support correspondence; your Community display name, optional bio and profile photo; and any optional profile details you choose to provide.
- Account and authentication information: your account identifier, sign-in provider, login email, email-verification status and relevant account or sign-in records. Email/password credentials are handled through Firebase Authentication. Your Google password is not provided to King of Dwarka.
- Community activity: posts, comments, replies, reactions, follows, saved posts, notification preferences and read status, selected topics or existing Circle memberships, and event interest or attendance choices.
- Media and contribution records: uploaded photographs, image descriptions, technical file information, account associations, submission and revision history, and moderation or removal status.
- Safety and operational information: reports, moderation decisions, deletion requests and limited technical or security records. Our hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, request times and error or abuse-related logs to deliver and protect the service. Complimentary gift downloads do not enroll you in a newsletter or require an email address. To limit repeated downloads, we store a keyed, hourly network fingerprint and request count for up to two hours, deleting expired entries during subsequent download requests; we do not store a raw IP address in these gift records.
How we use information
We use information to operate King of Dwarka, create and authenticate accounts, respond to support requests, deliver requested features and keep the website reliable.
- Present the public profile and contributions you choose to publish, including posts, comments, replies, photographs and visible reactions.
- Support following, private saved content, in-site notifications and preferences, and your event participation choices.
- Review reports and flagged submissions; apply Community rules; prevent abuse, spam, impersonation and prohibited contact exchange; and maintain account security.
- Record subscription consent and provide the email updates you request. Future product or customer-support processing will be explained when those services open.
Public and private information
Published Community profiles and contributions can be viewed by visitors without signing in. Some controls and activity views are available only to signed-in members. Treat anything you publish as information that others may read, copy or share, even if it later leaves the website.
- Public information includes your display name, profile photo, published bio, member date, published posts, comments, replies and photographs. Public follower/following lists and counts are visible. Reactions may be shown in totals or associated with your public identity in relevant activity or notifications.
- Private account information includes your login email and authentication records, saved posts, notification preferences and read history, private event interest/attendance choices, account controls and upload/submission history. These are not displayed as public profile fields.
- Internal reporting, moderation, security and account-ownership records are restricted to authorized operations. “Private” does not mean inaccessible to the service providers or authorized operators who need the information to deliver, support or protect the service.
Krishna Community
Community participation is voluntary. Do not post your own or another person’s phone number, email address, postal address, private account details or other prohibited contact information. Krishna Community does not offer direct messages. Selling, shop promotion and prohibited solicitation are restricted.
Content that is reported or may violate the guidelines can be held for review, restricted or removed. Automated text checks and human moderation support this process, but they do not guarantee that every unsafe submission will be detected. Relevant submissions and records may be reviewed by authorized moderators.
A devotional discussion may reveal personal beliefs or other sensitive information. Share only what you are comfortable making public, and do not disclose another person’s private information.
Photographs and other media
Uploaded images are associated with the member account and their intended use. The current upload process checks supported file type, size and decodability, normalizes images for delivery and strips embedded metadata. These are technical safeguards, not automated judgments about the meaning or safety of an image.
Technically validated photographs may be published without a prior human review. A profile photo or a photograph included in a published post can be publicly accessible. Your private upload-history view is separate from your public profile and public post-photo gallery.
Images can be reported, reviewed and removed under the Community rules. Do not upload sensitive documents, private contact information or photographs of people without the necessary permission. Copies already saved or shared by other visitors may remain outside our control.
Signing in
Krishna Community supports Google Sign-In and Email/Password sign-in through Google Firebase. Google Sign-In supplies the basic identity information needed for authentication, such as an account identifier, email address and available name or profile-image information. Your chosen Community display identity is managed separately from your private login email.
We use this information for sign-in, account linking where supported, verification, security and account support. Signing in does not give King of Dwarka access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts. We do not request those services for Community participation.
Google handles its sign-in process under its own privacy terms. You can manage third-party connections through your Google Account. Disconnecting Google access does not itself complete the King of Dwarka account-deletion process described below.
Service providers and sharing
Google/Firebase provides authentication and Community database services. Cloudflare services, including Workers, database storage and R2 object storage, help host and protect the website and deliver or store media and files. Sites hosting infrastructure also processes information needed to serve the website. Providers process information needed for their functions under their applicable terms and safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information or use Google sign-in data for behavioral advertising. We share information with service providers as needed to operate the features described here, with authorized operators for support or moderation, or where necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights or address security incidents.
Published information is shared with its audience as described above. If you follow an external link or join an event on another service, that service has its own privacy practices. No payment provider is processing checkout payments on this website while payments remain disabled. Relevant providers and payment-data practices will be disclosed before commerce opens.
Cookies and browser storage
The current site does not deploy advertising cookies or behavioral-advertising trackers. Authentication and infrastructure services may use essential cookies or equivalent browser storage to maintain sign-in, secure requests and deliver the website.
Browser-local storage also supports features such as a saved reading place, recent reflection choices and Community writing drafts or return position. These local records are distinct from account-based saved Community posts. Local Community draft and continuity information is scoped to the current member or session where supported.
You can clear or restrict cookies and site storage in your browser. Doing so may sign you out, remove local drafts or bookmarks, or prevent some features from working. Signing out alone should not be assumed to erase every local reading preference on a shared device. Optional analytics has its own choice, described below.
Optional Google Analytics
With your explicit permission, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits to public editorial pages and interest in Digital Products. Analytics is off until you enable Visit statistics in Cookie preferences, confirm that you are 18 or older and save your choice. Existing valid Google Analytics choices remain valid only for Google Analytics. Visitors in every country receive the same choice. Rejecting analytics does not limit reading or other website features. We do not use analytics to identify your religious beliefs or create advertising audiences.
When enabled, Google receives a pseudonymous browser identifier, page titles and clean public page addresses, referral-site information, timestamps, browser and device information, approximate country or region and product-view or selection events. These records help us understand visitor numbers, traffic sources, countries, devices and which public pages or products attract interest. Google processes connection IP addresses for approximate location and service functions such as spam detection, then discards raw IP addresses according to its regional processing rules. We do not receive raw IP addresses in Analytics reports. Granular city and device-model collection is disabled. Analytics is not anonymous, and providers may process information internationally under their applicable data-processing safeguards.
We exclude all Community and Contact pages, private and retired routes, and unknown pages. We do not send form contents, email addresses, contact details, member identities, saved reading places, Community activity, authentication tokens, URL query parameters or fragments as analytics events. URLs with unrecognized query parameters are not measured. Site search, form, outbound-click, file-download, video and automatic history tracking are disabled. Public page views and approved product interactions are measured deliberately. No purchase, checkout, payment or revenue events are recorded while commerce is disabled.
Google Signals, advertising personalization, advertising storage and advertising user-data consent are disabled. We do not link Google Ads. Optional account data-sharing settings are off. Basic consent mode blocks the Google tag completely before permission or after rejection; we do not send cookieless analytics pings for visitors who have not consented.
The analytics choice is stored on this browser for 180 days with its date and policy version. Google Analytics cookies, including _ga and the stream-specific _ga_ cookie, are configured for up to 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. User-level and event-level data retention is set to two months; aggregated reporting can remain longer. Browser restrictions or clearing storage may shorten these periods.
Use Cookie preferences, available on public pages, to reject analytics or change your choice at any time. Withdrawing permission immediately disables collection, removes this site’s analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag. It does not undo processing already carried out. If your browser cannot save your preference, analytics stays off on the current page and a notice asks you to check browser storage settings. Reports therefore describe consenting adult visitors and are not a complete count of everyone who reads the website. For questions or applicable privacy requests, contact info@kingofdwarka.com.

Optional heatmaps and session recordings
Microsoft Clarity is a separate, optional choice for adults. It helps us understand usability through heatmaps and session replay of clicks, scrolling and public page layout. A previous Google Analytics opt-in does not authorize Clarity. Clarity is not loaded until you specifically enable Heatmaps and session recordings in Cookie preferences, confirm that you are 18 or older, and save. The same opt-in applies in every country. Reject all keeps both optional tools off and public content remains available.
Consented recording is limited to the homepage and recognized public Krishna, Wisdom, Bhagavad Gita, Discover Dwarka, A Moment With Krishna and selected Digital Products pages. It excludes all Krishna Community activity, profiles, accounts, authentication, administration, moderation, messages, Contact, Support, legal pages, gifts, child-focused products, payments, private files, retired and unknown routes. URLs containing queries or fragments, and visits with an unsafe or private referring URL, are not recorded. Crossing into an excluded route unloads the recording document, including during internal navigation.
All page text and form input values are masked before upload. We do not provide member names, email addresses, account identifiers, authentication tokens, personal messages or custom visitor identifiers to Clarity. We do not record form submissions. We do not use these reports to infer religious beliefs, personal circumstances or other sensitive characteristics. Microsoft receives technical connection information, pseudonymous browser and session identifiers, eligible public URLs, device information and interaction and layout data. Masking does not make this processing anonymous. Microsoft processes this information under its Privacy Statement and may process it internationally.
Our implementation grants analytics storage only after this separate choice and always denies advertising storage. Microsoft Ads, Google Ads and Clarity-to-Google-Analytics integrations are not enabled. We do not grant advertising consent or create advertising audiences. Clarity cookies such as _clck and _clsk can associate eligible consented visits. Microsoft controls its cookie lifetimes; our separate recording permission expires after 180 days, after which recording stops and this site clears its Clarity cookies when the browser next checks the choice. Standard recordings are retained by Microsoft for 30 days. Heatmap and click data, and any recordings labeled or favorited in Clarity, are retained for 9 months.
Use Cookie preferences to withdraw recording permission at any time. Saving a rejection stops the recorder, clears this site’s Clarity cookies and reloads the page to unload the script. A withdrawal cannot recall information already sent or a request already in flight. Cross-tab changes are checked, and returning cached pages reload before recording resumes. Storage failures keep recording off in the current document and show a notice. Browser blockers and these exclusions mean reports cover only a subset of visits. For privacy requests, contact info@kingofdwarka.com.
Email and your choices
info@kingofdwarka.com is our primary contact address. If you choose Letters from King of Dwarka, you must tick a separate newsletter consent box. When signup is available, eligible new addresses join without an email confirmation click. This records your choice but does not prove ownership of the address. Brevo processes your email address and subscription preferences to manage the newsletter, delivery, unsubscribe requests and delivery failures. Newsletter consent is independent of optional website analytics and session recording. Existing interest-list records are not automatically imported or enrolled.
A Quiet Sunday with Krishna is our Sunday editorial letter. Newsletter messages include an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask to leave by emailing us. Unsubscribes, complaints and blocked addresses are respected; the signup form does not automatically remove a sending block. Community membership and purchases do not subscribe you to newsletters. Five Quiet Moments remains free without signing up. Existing contacts and delivery blocks are never automatically reactivated; contact us about a provider-supported resubscription review.
To limit duplicate requests and abuse, we keep a protected fingerprint of a newsletter request, its date, footer consent-text version and processing state. Accepted new-subscription evidence expires after two years, to support consent enquiries; failed and unchanged requests expire after 30 days. Expired records are deleted during subsequent signup processing, so deletion is not an exact-time scheduled job. The request fingerprint is keyed and is not a plaintext email address. Short-lived rate-limit records use a keyed network fingerprint instead of storing a raw IP address. Our hosting provider and Brevo necessarily process connection and delivery information under their service policies; Brevo may process information internationally. We do not send Community content, account identities or analytics preferences to Brevo. Email delivery services may record delivery, open and link activity. This signup form adds no email tracking pixel. Before sending newsletters, we review provider tracking settings and applicable regional consent and international-transfer requirements. Single opt-in is not a guarantee of compliance in every jurisdiction. You can contact us about access, correction or deletion.
Account verification, password-reset and account-change messages serve a separate operational purpose. Community notifications currently appear within the Community experience; a preference does not promise an email, push alert or background event reminder.
How long information is kept
Account information and contributions are generally retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the features you use. We consider the purpose of the information, account activity, your choices, safety needs and applicable obligations when deciding how long to retain it.
Removing a contribution from public view is not the same as immediately erasing every underlying record. Limited information may remain for moderation, abuse prevention, legal obligations, operational recovery or backups. Backup copies may take longer to expire and are not intended to restore deleted material to public view.
We do not promise one immediate deletion deadline for every system. Information that is no longer needed for a lawful operational or retention purpose is removed or de-identified through the applicable process.
Account deletion
In Krishna Community, open Manage Account, find “Leaving the Community”, select “Request account deletion” and confirm. You may be asked to sign out and sign in again before the request can proceed.
A successful request stops participation and hides your profile. The Community team then reviews and processes removal of your account, contributions and associated private data. This is a staged workflow, not an instantaneous hard deletion. Limited safety or legal records may be retained where necessary.
If you cannot access your account, or need help with a protected administrative account, contact info@kingofdwarka.com. We may need to verify that you are entitled to make the request. Never send us your password or a verification code. An email-list subscription is separate; let us know if you also want it removed.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your personal information, correct it, request erasure, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or request portability. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Use the available profile, account, notification and saved-content controls, or write to info@kingofdwarka.com. We assess requests under applicable law, may verify your identity, and will explain relevant limitations. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity: providing requested account services, your consent for optional communications or other consent-based uses, legitimate operational and safety interests where permitted, and compliance with legal obligations. Publicly sharing sensitive information can have additional consequences; contact us with questions or removal requests.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including restricted administrative access and checks around authentication, uploads and publication, to help protect information. No website, transmission method or storage system is completely secure.
Keep your sign-in credentials private, secure your devices and report suspected unauthorized access to info@kingofdwarka.com. We do not ask for your password or one-time sign-in code by email or in a Community post.
Children and family use
Public stories may be enjoyed with family involvement, but account and Community services are not intended for children below the applicable minimum age without lawful parental or guardian involvement and any consent required by law. The availability of family-oriented reading or products does not remove those requirements.
Do not create an account or submit personal information where the applicable age or consent requirements are not met. If you believe a child’s information has been supplied improperly, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate steps. Do not post identifying or sensitive information about children in the Community.
International access
King of Dwarka can be accessed globally. Information may be stored or processed by us or our service providers in different jurisdictions, including where their infrastructure, support or security operations are located. Data-protection laws can differ between those places.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the appropriate arrangements and provider commitments. Global access does not waive your rights under the law that applies to you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website, our practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in a suitable way, and additional consent will be sought where required before a new consent-based use begins.
